A Brief History & Trajectory
How it all Started
Broker Chris Gruenwald founded Chapalajara Real Estate in 2012 alongside a partner, quickly growing the business despite adverse housing market in the Lake Chapala region at that time. In 2015, during a strategic restructuring aimed at expansion, the partners amicably parted ways. Chris rebranded his share as Biencom Real Estate, with a vision to deliver comprehensive, one-stop real estate services for both foreign and Mexican buyers and sellers.
Chris has lived in Mexico since 2003 and has been a top-producing broker in Lake Chapala since 2006. With a multinational background and global experience, Chris began building a team of expert agents, closers, and rental administrators in 2008. The Biencom name may be newer, but its full-service real estate model is proven, trusted, and client-focused.
In 2022, Biencom expanded its footprint by opening a new branch in Puerto Vallarta, bringing its successful model to the Bahía de Banderas and Riviera Nayarit area. This new location allows Biencom to serve clients along the coast, from Vallarta to Nayarit’s most sought-after communities, with the same integrity, knowledge, and personalized service that has made the company a leader in Lake Chapala real estate.
