Manzanillo

The Manzanillo Metropolitan Area comprises of three towns. Manzanillo, the southernmost of the three, is decidedly urban and industrialized. Not only is it the home to Mexico’s busisest port, but it also has a large naval base. The Las Brisas neighborhood is the most tourist portion of Manzanillo proper, and where most of the nice residences of Manzanillo proper are situated. Salahua, to the north, is more suburban and residential. The coastline is dotted with hotels, resorts, condos and high-end houses. Santiago, the northernmost, is best described as a small, quaint Mexican fishing village turned five-star resort destination.
