Chris Gruenwald, Co-Broker – Barra de Navidad
Chris Gruenwald was born in Frankfurt, Germany but grew up in California and has been living in Mexico since 2003. Chris has been a top producing sales agent and broker in the Lake Chapala area since 2006. Chris originates from a mult-national background and has lived around the world. He became a super agent at a now extinct brokerage and has been building Real Estate teams of top agents, closers and rental administrators since 2008. Chris was co-founder of Chapalajara Real Estate in 2012, and founded Biencom Real Estate in 2015. Chris is a champion of the all-inclusive Real Estate service concept which he has tried and proven. Currently Chris presides over Biencom’s expansion into the Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit markets.
Vicky Martínez, General Manager / Founding Partner
Vicky Martinez is a native of Ajijic, Mexico. She joined Chris in real estate in 2007, as a adminisitrative assistant and receptionist. Helping found Chapalajara Real Estate in 2012, and Biencom Real Estate in 2015, Vicky has extensive experience in closing real estate deal in the Lake Chapala region. Vicky has closed over 500 real estate transactions, representing happy buyers and satisfied sellers.
Christian Pérez, Assitant Broker / Founding Partner
Christian Pérez is originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala. He emigrated to Ajijic, Mexico to rejoin with family members already living here. Christian and Chris worked together at now extinct Lakeside real estate company, where Christian was one of the agency’s top sales agents. Christian helped found Chapalajara Real Estate in 2012, and co-founded Biencom Real Estate in 2015. One of the Lake Chapala office’s top producers… he is a wealth of information about the area, neighborhoods and real estate trends. In 2022 Christian helped open Biencom’s Puerto Vallarta office… expanding his horizons to include beach properties. Christian has easily sold over 100 properties around Jalisco.
Carlos Urzua, Office Manager, Puerto Vallarta
Carlos is originally from Mexico City and joined the Biencom Real Estate team in 2024 to become the Office Assistant at the Puerto Vallarta office, later Carlos stepped up to the plate to become office manager. Currently living in Puerto Vallarta, Carlos is highly dedicated to make everyone of our clients real estate experience magical!
Mark Rome, Broker – Barra de Navidad
Mark was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario. Mark worked as a process operator in the oil industry in Vancouver BC for 20 years until he discovered the magic of Mexico. Mark opted for a buyout from the oil industry that changed his life forever… Mark has taken on the challenge and built numerous homes in Mexico , managed hotels , and ran very successful entertainment venues in both Ajijic and Puerto Vallarta. His life experience in Mexico has been challenging and always rewarding.
Real Estate has always been a passion and after successfully converting one hotel to condos and selling 24 condos in one year there was no turning back..
In 2023 Mark took on the challenge to open an office in Barra de Navidad to better assist our clients there. Mark is the Broker of the Biencom Barra de Navidad office and he is also an Real Estate Agent in the lovely Lake Chapala region.
Aurora Guzmán, Office Manager, Ajijic
Aurora is originally from Cancún, Quintana Roo, who has numerous years of experience working as a Real Estate office manager for one of the largest and most prestigious developers in Ajijic. She ran the sales office and oversaw the sales team. Having joined Biencom Real Estate in 2023, Aurora is the office manager of the Ajijic office. Aurora has overseen at least 100 real estate transanctions, and prides herself in making all processes, no matter how tedious, clear and easy.
David Castro, Office Manager, Barra de Navidad
Originally from León, Guanajuato David joined the Biencom Real Estate team in Puerto Vallarta in 2022. Having taken on the challenge of opening the Biencom Barra de Navidad office, Mark entrusted David to manage the Biencom Barra office. Since 2023 David is also a sales agent in beautiful Lake Chapala, attending to joint clients there and in Barra. David’s multi-cultural upbringing and passion for real estate makes him an excellent office manager to oversee buying and selling transactions.
Julio Zárate, Rental Manager, Ajijic
Originally from Ajijic, Julio was raised in California in a multi-cultural background. Julio’s real love is boxing, boxing, a passion that he has cultivated since the age of 12, which has taught me the discipline and perseverance that I apply to every aspect of my life. After more than 7 years in the oil industry in Texas, Julio returned to his native Mexico and fell into Real Estate by chance. Currently a successful sales agent, Julio also runs the Rental Department at Biencom Real Estate’s Ajijic office.
